Use dd-Water to save TAE buffer

10x TAE buffer Recipe: 

To prepare 3 Liters of 10x TAE buffer:

In a 3 liter container, add
145.2g Trizma base
34.26 ml Glacial Acetic Acid
60 ml 0.5M EDTA (pH 8.0), then mix and bring final volume to 3000ml.

 

Note: New TAE buffer can be prepared at much higher concentration, such as 50x, to reduce laor and frequency in preparing TAE buffer.
